Congratulations to Gabrielle Geiger and Ethan Riscovallez who were awarded their $500 College Savings Account Certificates on June 17th

The GABL Youth Sports Foundation is pleased to announce that it is re-establishing the GABL Dream Team as part of its 40th Anniversary celebration!  College savings accounts were awarded to 12 GABL participants in 2006 and 2007 through a sponsorship with Learning Quest, the State of Kansas 529 Education Savings Program. The GABL Foundation will be funding the savings accounts this year.  

Four members will be selected to the 2015 GABL Dream Team.  Each will be granted a $500 College Savings account.

In 2015, the members will be selected from GABL participants in 6th and 7th grades. One boy and one girl will be selected from each grade based on achievements in academics, school activities, community service and an essay submission.  The essay topic is “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up and Why.”  The applications must be submitted no later than April 30, 2015. The selection criteria for The Dream Team will include the following with their corresponding importance indicated: 

• Academics                                30%
• Essay                                          30%
• Community Service                20%
• School Activities                      20%

Responsibility for selecting The Dream Team will rest with the Dream Team Selection Committee, which will be established by GABL.
